Onsite Places and Facilities – Adding Places
Add a new Place or Facility to your Holidaymaker app
Adding a new Place or Facility to your Holidaymaker app is very easy.

Place Title
Add a title for your Place at the top, and on the right hand side choose one or more of your Onsite Place Types.
App List Description
In the App Main Content section, you will see two text boxes – one for App List Description – this is where you can add a short excerpt describing the Onsite Place – and this will appear in the list view of Onsite Places.
App Copy
Underneath this field you will see a larger app text box where you can add a full description that will appear on the Place profile itself.
*Note – both of these fields only accept text content – you cannot add pictures to these fields.
App Image
Next, add an image for your Place. A landscape image works best for that app image – again, don’t worry about the file size, the Holidaymaker app software will optimise the image for users on their smartphones.
The last two options in this section include the List Sort Priority and Highlight Text.
List Sort Priority
The List Sort Priority determines in what order your Onsite Places are displayed within the app.
By default, this is set to 99 which means that this Place will appear in alphabetical order. If you want the Place to appear higher in the display order within the app, simply add a low number for example 0 or 1 to display it at the top.
Highlight Text
Underneath you have the option of adding a highlight text, this is a text field to display a simple highlight button within the Place profile.
Publishing your Onsite Place
Once you have added the basic information for your Onsite Place, click “Publish” in the top right-hand corner and the Place will be added to your app.
If you are not quite ready to go live with your Place simply keep the Place in draft and you can come back to it at a later date and publish it.

Takeaway / Info / Alert Box
