This help guide outlines how to add and amend your events and activities within the What’s On section of your Holidaymaker app.
This help guide outlines how to add and amend your events and activities within the What’s On section of your Holidaymaker app.

The What’s On options will appear when you select the “What’s On” module.

Event Details
You can easily add an event or activity in the dashboard. For each event you will need to add:-
- Featured image
- Event category
- App content
- List description
- List priority
- List location
Featured image
Add an image to appear alongside your event. As with most of the images in your Holidaymaker App, a landscape image works best.
Event Category
Choose you category or hide from the app altogether
App content
Add your content that you would like to display within the full event / activity display. Don’t forget that this is just a text field.
List description
Add a short description that will appear within the list view the events.
List priority
You can set the priority for displaying events. By default, this is set to 99 which means that this event will appear in alphabetical order. If you want the event to appear higher in the display order within the app, simply add a low number for example 0 or 1 to display it at the top.

Choose a location
Choose a location to associate your event with.
By default, your Holidaymaker App will offer choices based on your “On-site Places” already set up.

Event Performances
Add your individual performances or activities using the date picker and choose a start time.
Note – you can add multiple performances for each event.

Is Bookable
If your event is bookable, simply tick the check box and a set of additional optional fields will appear for you to add the URL link for your booking forms.

Is a Paid Event
If your event is a paid event then simply tick the check box and an optional box will appear where you can fill in the pricing details that is associated with your event.
